Client: Archdiocese of Brisbane
Project: Marymount College Carpark & Drop Off Area
Duration: Sep 2015 - Jan 2016
Project Value: $1,290,000
Project Details: After having plans developed for a new car park area including a drop off/pick up zone at Marymount College on the Gold Coast, Main Constructions was invited to tender for this project. We were pleased to be awarded the contract and commenced works on site in September. Civil works to make way for the 83 space car park and drive through set down area include clearing and grubbing of the site, earthworks excavation, subgrade preparation, gravel placement, final trim, concrete kerb and channel and supply and installation of Asphalt surface. Works will also include stormwater construction, bio-retention construction, pathways, pavement marking and supply and installation of signage. A temporary gravel car park will also be constructed for use during the construction period. The contract also requires supply and installation of shelters to the drop-off and pick up area to protect students from the elements. Electrical works will also be involved with the supply and installation of lighting to the car park and set down area.
