Project Details:                This large project involved the construction of a new aged care facility at Carina. Main Constructions was awarded the contract to undertake all civil works including earthworks, bulk and detailed excavation in rock, vegetation management, sandstone retaining walls, storm water, sewer, bio retention basin, hard stand construction, line marking, traffic signs, and asphalt road works. The facility included a 128 bed high care centre along with a multitude of 1, 2 & 3 bedroom units within various apartment and duplex buildings. The site terrain was very steep resulting in slow maneuvering and less output of the construction plants but the project was completed successfully by Main, using the best possible construction techniques within the specified time frame.
