Project: Beams Road Culvert Widening
Duration: Apr - Aug 2019
Project Value: $680,400.00
Project Details: This project is located at the section of verge between 441 and 421 Beams Road in Fitzgibbon which has been identified as a missing link in the network which is to be upgraded to a shared pathway for pedestrians and cyclists. The scope of works included installing a new section of shared pathway along Beams Road from Marigold Close towards Hanford Road to tie into the existing pathway. Additional civil infrastructure constructed included underground stormwater drainage, kerbs, asphalt, line-marking, guardrails, balustrades and handrails. Traffic management for the project was conducted by Main Constructions which included long term lateral shifts and intermittent night works. The project specifications were to TMR, CTS, PSS and BCC’s suite of reference specifications.
