The aim of stage one works is to construct a fully functioning AFL field, roads and parking and associated infrastructure allowing for the future construction of a joint use clubhouse, sewer pump station and sewer rising main in stage two. The works include the construction of a senior AFL field, building pad, roads, car parking, stormwater drainage, bio retention ponds, electrical, lighting, PA system, gravity sewer, water, recycled water, irrigation, landscaping and associated works. The existing Southpine Sports Complex facilities will remain in operation throughout the construction period and as such provisions will be made to allow for safe access to existing roads, car parking buildings and sports fields.
We are working hard at South Pine Sports Complex to finalise construction of the new soccer facilities. These facilities which include a High Performance Club House and a Local Club House facility along with 4 new soccer fields will provide a much welcome addition to the complex. We are sure that after the excitement of the World Cup Soccer recently held in Australia that soccer clubs will be receiving an influx of players.
