Duration: November 2011 to April 2012
Project Value: $805,600
Project Details: The project was awarded to Main Constructions as a Design, Build and Maintain contract. The works included bulk earthworks undertaken to allow for construction of 2 new Rugby Fields (1 Senior and 1 Junior) and the renewal of the existing field. The other works comprised of sub-surface drainage works, stormwater drainage works, relocation of existing 120 lux sports field lighting poles, installation of 70 lux new sports field lighting poles, laser levelling of the sports field, landscaping, installation and maintenance of jumbo rolls of “winter green” turfing, etc.
We are working hard at South Pine Sports Complex to finalise construction of the new soccer facilities. These facilities which include a High Performance Club House and a Local Club House facility along with 4 new soccer fields will provide a much welcome addition to the complex. We are sure that after the excitement of the World Cup Soccer recently held in Australia that soccer clubs will be receiving an influx of players.
